Delete your Kinnect account

Everything, permanently. This page explains how; the app does the work.

If you still have the app

  1. Open Kinnect and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Deleting your account.
  3. Tap Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm.

If you have already uninstalled it

Reinstall Kinnect, sign in with the same email or phone number, and follow the steps above. If you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from the address on the account and it will be deleted for you within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in addresses, every message and photograph you sent or received, your location history, your saved places, your circles, every connection, and every device you signed in on. Files are removed from disk, not only from the database.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It also takes your side of every conversation with it, so the people you were talking to lose that history too.

What is not kept afterwards

Nothing that identifies you. Kinnect keeps no analytics, no advertising profile and no backups of deleted accounts. Location history is in any case deleted after 10 days, and messages after 14, whether or not you delete your account.
